Coach Austen Cochran

I’ve played multiple sports through my childhood. I started weight training (powerlifting, bodybuilding) when I was 14 and began more cross training when I was 17. After I graduated Cedar Park high school in 2008, I joined the Marine Corps Reserve. I have been meritoriously promoted twice and I have led PT for our weapons company for the last two years. I found Crossfit in Afghanistan early 2011 and took the level 1 course when returned in December 2011. I did physical therapy with Mike and Dave while I was in high school and when I found out they were doing Crossfit, I thought it would be a great opportunity to learn PT with Mike and advance my training with Dave. I’m going to school for physical therapy and I’m training for the Crossfit Games.
