David has been involved in exercise enhancement for twenty years.  He has coached 2 separate athletes to qualify for the International CrossFit Games, multiple athletes to the CrossFit Regional Level and programs for athletes (Individuals and Teams) across the globe including Kuwait, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Italy and the United States.  David has assisted in sports specific programs, injury rehabilitation, pre-habilitation as well as general fitness and weight loss. He also works with various age groups in accomplishing their personal goals. David has assisted youth sports programs in both group and individual settings. He has coached professional athletes, weekend warriors and assisted the military in preparation for deployment to Iraq.

David believes in continuing education. The only way to improve is hours of coaching and studying from the best of the best. David has been able to work with some amazing coaches in all areas of training from Mike Burgener, Chad Vaughn, Jodi Vaughn, Ursula Garza Pappandrea, Dave Durante, Mike Cerbus, and many others. Constant study of programming, Olympic Lifting, Nutrition and education have helped David hone his skills to become a highly respected coach within the CrossFit community.

David graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as well as the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN).David has earned several nationally recognized certifications including the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and several CrossFit Certifications including Level 1, Nutrition, Endurance and Olympic Lifting. As one of the owners of Tillman Physical Therapy & Sports Training Center, Inc., MAD Athlete Training and CrossFit Cedar Park, David has chosen to use the CrossFit methods and principles. He is proud to be the owner and head coach of CrossFit Cedar Park.
