Strength Cycle

While at the CrossFit Games, Carson took on “Grace” and PR’d by 1 second at the Barbells for Boobs tent.


If you attended Coach Dave’s talk on programming, then you know we are in the middle of a strength cycle. In addition, we’ve added RX weights and Elite weights this week. As always, all programming is completely modifiable and can be scaled for all levels.

Dynamic warm up
6 of each
lunge stretch
leg cradle
hand walks
pvc arm circles
press ups

Group warm up
6 count burpees
10 each of
high knees
butt kicks
bottom squat hold 30sec-1 min (first round only)
push ups (2nd round hand release

Skill /Strength
OH Squats

In 7 minutes build to a max OH squat.


Then for 10 minutes emom
From the floor
3 oh squats rx 95,65 elite 135,95
3 burpees
Adjust weight as needed

Record weights.
