1. When did you begin at CrossFit Cedar Park?
“Began at CFCP in December 2010 after 5 months of cf at a box that went out of business.”
2. Why did CrossFit appeal to you?
“CF has transformed the way I approach fitness. After playing college baseball I still stayed in shape as best I could for 10-12 years before starting a family. Over the course of 3 years I gained 35 lbs and was in the worst shape of my life. I didn’t even know where to start. In the 1.5 years at CFCP I have made incredible gains in strength, stamina, flexibility and endurance. I continue to see improvements in all areas of fitness and especially in mental focus during very difficult WODS.”
3. What is your occupation?
“Middle school assistant principal AISD.”
4. What is your favorite CrossFit WOD or movement?
“I love the Hero WODs and the challenge they present along with honoring hose after whom they are named. I look forward to the hero course each summer. My favorite WODS include Grace, Abate, Fight Gone Bad, and old Fran. For a measure of improvement, my very first Rx Fran time was 22:12 in September of 2010….this past winter I broke the 4 minute mark. Enough said.”
5. Current Goals?
“Current goals include committing to a better diet, completing a sub 60 minute Murph Rx, a 350 lb back squat and a 225 clean and jerk.”
