Congratulations to all our GirlFit “ladies” – Many of them are going on to have great Volleyball Seasons – making National Club and Varsity Teams!
AFGHAN GAMES – we will be participating on September 10th at 9:30am. The WOD is 100 burpees for time. The box with the most participants wil receive prizes. Each person participating must pay the $20 REGISTRATION FEE. This money 100% goes towards getting fitness equipment to our military overseas.
FIGHT GONE BAD 6 – is coming quick. If you are registered, please get moving on your donations. Nikki will be sending out an email later this week with ideas of how to raise money (Shane Pratt has some great ideas) and some sample letters for you to send out. Need help? With a continuously running clock, do one pull-up and one handstand push-up the first minute, two pull-ups and two handstand push-ups the second minute, three pull-ups and three handstand push-ups the third minute… continuing as long as you are able. When you cannot complete the required number of reps for either exercise, continue only with the other as long as you are able.
Use as many sets in any order each minute as needed.
Post number of minutes successfully completed for each exercise to comments. Their sum is your score.
ex. Laurie Galassi 32 (15 HSPU + 17 Pull-up), Jesse Bazarnick 31 (12 HSPU + 19 Pull-up).
